Role Overview

As our inaugural Business Development Manager, you will have the autonomy to lead our business development strategy. Your role will involve leveraging your recruitment expertise to identify new business opportunities, build strong client relationships, and drive revenue growth. This position is ideal for a professional with a proven track record in recruitment, either in a pure BDM role or a 360 position, who is looking to focus exclusively on business development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a strategic business development plan to drive growth and achieve revenue targets.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, building a robust pipeline of prospective clients.
  • Establish and maintain strong client relationships, understanding their recruitment needs and providing tailored solutions.
  • Collaborate with the delivery team to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Utilise a range of recruitment tools and products to enhance business development efforts.
  • Conduct market research to stay abreast of industry trends and competitor activity.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to potential clients.
  • Negotiate terms of business and close opportunities effectively.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in recruitment, either in a pure Business Development Manager role or a 360 position.
  • Demonstrated success in business development and client acquisition.
  • Strong understanding of the recruitment industry and market dynamics.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and take initiative.
  • Proficiency with recruitment tools and technology.
  • Results-driven with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Based in or willing to commute to Milton Keynes, with flexibility for hybrid working.
