Business Development Manager

Job Title: Business Development Manager (Telecoms Industry) 

Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 + uncapped commission

Location: St Albans Area

Contract: Permanent, Full Time  

Hours:  Monday to Friday 9:00am – 5:00pm (with 1 hour lunch break)

SKILLS REQUIRED

• Proven experience in sales – 4+ years of experience, within telecoms 
• Drive to exceed and see new business
• A clear communicator with an excellent telephone manner.
• Excellent client relationship skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritise workload

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Identify new business opportunities.
• Meet with clients in person and virtually.
• Understand clients needs and have a plan of how to meet these.
• Work within the existing client base and seek new partners to develop new business and prepare proposals for the provision of products.
• Negotiate to with contracts.
• Seek new areas of growth with existing partners by providing desk and field bases support.
• Building a sales pipeline.
• Updating the database with client communications and information.
• Develop and build long term relationships.
• Representing the business at conferences and events.
