Business Development Manager

Three Bridges Recruitment have partnered with an international scientific analysis company based in Dundee, with offices in Aberdeen and sites across Scotland. This organisation is looking for an experienced business development manager to join their team and ensure the continued growth of the business into expanding markets. Already a market leader in multiple sectors this role will lead the development of new clients in a very lucrative and upcoming market, this role will enable the right candidate to travel abroad, work with the best and gain experience in a high exposure role.

Job
The role of Business Development Manager will give you the opportunity to be involved with the following:

• Creating new business and nurturing existing relationships
• Generating and qualifying leads, producing proposals, and closing sales
• Developing new customer accounts and expanding existing ones
• Liaising between customers and the company to meet and exceed customer expectations
• Attending tradeshows and congresses to advance customer opportunities
• Monthly reporting on sales and progress against targets

You
As a Business Development Manager, you will be skilled &/or qualified in the following:

• Degree level education in Chemistry, Biology, or allied sciences
• Proven track record in technical sales and business development within relevant sectors (Science, technology or medical)
• Experience in planning and delivery of budget and sales targets
• Excellent communication and teamworking abilities, willing to undertake international travel
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience using CRM systems like HubSpot
