Working location: Head Office Stoke on Trent - Covering Nationally, 1 Office day per week at Head Office + Home and Field based.

Are you a highly motivated and results-oriented individual with a passion for driving business growth? Our client, a leading manufacturing company, is currently seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager to join their team.

As the Business Development Manager, you will play a vital role in identifying and securing new business opportunities, while also nurturing and maintaining relationships with existing clients. You will be responsible for generating leads, prospecting potential customers, and closing deals to achieve sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

Build and maintain a strong pipeline of leads through various channels, including market research, networking events, and cold outreach
Conduct regular prospecting activities to identify new business opportunities
Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue growth
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure delivery of exceptional customer service and timely execution of projects
Negotiate and close sales contracts, ensuring favourable terms for both parties
Provide regular reports on sales activities, market trends, and competitor analysis

Requirements:

Proven experience in a business development or sales role, preferably within the manufacturing industry
Strong networking and relationship-building skills
Excellent negotiation and closing abilities
Ability to thrive in a target-driven environment
Effective communication and presentation skills
Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel as required
