Business Development Manager

Head Office Stoke on Trent - Covering Nationally

1 Office day per week at Head Office + Home and Field based, 9am- 5pm

Our client, a dynamic and innovative organisation in the construction, shelving, shopfitting, and store development industry, is currently seeking a talented Business Development Manager to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven individual who thrives on generating leads, nurturing customer relationships, and contributing to the growth of the organisation.

Responsibilities:

- Lead Generation: Create and execute effective lead generation strategies through various channels. Utilise data and analytics to identify and target potential customers. Collaborate with marketing teams to optimise lead generation campaigns.

- Prospecting: Conduct research to identify and qualify potential leads. Tailor outreach strategies to engage with target demographics or industries.

- Customer Outreach: Establish and maintain effective communication with potential customers. Nurture leads through the sales funnel by addressing their unique needs.

- Account Activation: Develop and implement strategies to convert leads into active accounts. Work closely with the sales team to ensure a seamless transition from lead generation to customer activation.

- Data Analysis: Analyse and interpret data to identify trends and areas for improvement. Utilise analytics tools to measure campaign success and make data-driven decisions.

- Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and customer success. Provide insights and feedback to optimise the overall customer journey.

- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of leads, interactions, and account activation processes. Document best practises and success stories to share with the team.

- Continuous Improvement: Stay informed about industry trends and best practises. Propose and implement continuous improvement initiatives for enhanced efficiency.

- Training and Support: Share knowledge and insights to foster a culture of continuous learning related to new clients and the sector.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in lead generation, prospecting, account activation and closing sales.
Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Proficiency in relevant tools and technologies.
