Business Development Manager - Materials Handling Equipment solutions - NORTH

account Management and account growth: 40% of the role is new business development!
Technical Sales - Manufacturing - Remote / Home-based - Get on the road across the North of the UK - sell into automotive, aerospace, automation, electronics and retail sectors.
Up to £50,000 basic salary, PLUS OTE of £15,000 - £20,000 in year 1 plus £6,000 car allowance ad annual company bonus.
START August / September.

After a period of fantastic growth this market leading manufacturing SME are looking to strengthen the sales team across the North of the UK.
We are looking for a proven Sales executive with experience in technical sales / manufacturing / materials handling who can win new business and develop existing customer accounts
Get on the road, meet customers, manage a team - Drive sales and growth! - SELL SELL SELL!

We’re looking for:

  • An ambitious and driven salesperson with a proven track record of new business development and key relationship development (60%
  • Experience in the manufacturing / materials handling sector is desirable but not essential, this is about people management
  • Experience in managing a sales team
  • Proven track record of successful consultative sales and achieving targets.
  • Ability to communicate and network with people at all levels.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Prospect for potential new clients.
  • Use CRM system and market knowledge to evaluate potential target customers
  • Research and build relationships with new clients.
  • Be responsible for your own diary and movement planning
  • Majority of the working week to be on the road
  • Identify new markets for current and new solutions
  • Regular contact and joint visits to customers with field sales team
  • Set up meetings between client decision-makers
  • Participate in pricing the solution/service.
  • Handle objections by clarifying, emphasizing agreements, and working through differences to a positive conclusion
  • Identify opportunities for campaigns, services, and distribution channels that will lead to an increase in sales
  • Using knowledge of the market and competitors, identify and develop the company’s unique selling propositions and differentiators
  • Present new products and services and enhance existing relationships
  • Work with technical staff and other internal colleagues to meet customer needs
  • Arrange and participate in internal and external client debriefs
