Are you an experienced Business Development Manager looking for an exciting new challenge? This role offers the opportunity to lead a team across the UK and Ireland in the End-of-Life Tyre market, driving business growth through client acquisition and sales.

As a Business Development Manager, you will play a crucial role in identifying new clients, nurturing relationships, and growing revenue streams. Based in Wem, Staffordshire, but with travel required nationwide, this role offers a dynamic and varied work environment.

The Candidate;

  • A proven track record in business development, particularly within the tyre or rubber industry.
  • Strong leadership and team management experience.
  • Excellent communication and sales skills.
  • Strategic thinker with a proven track record of driving business growth.
  • Ability to analyse data, generate reports, and make informed decisions.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to identifying new business opportunities.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong organisational and project management abilities.
  • A full UK Driving Licence and willingness to travel as required
  • Demonstrated track record of successfully acquiring new clients and driving revenue growth.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills to establish and maintain relationships with clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.

Duties and Responsibilities;

  • Lead and manage a team of business development professionals across multiple regions, including Scotland, the Midlands, and Ireland.
  • Drive client acquisition efforts and foster long-term relationships to boost sales and business growth.
  • Analyse sales data, report on team performance, and present insights to senior management.
  • Promote a sales-driven culture within the company, ensuring your team is equipped with the best business practices.
  • Identify new business opportunities and work to increase market share by exploring new products and services.
  • Attend industry events to raise the company’s profile and expand networks.
