Business Development Representative - SaaS - USA Market

An amazing opportunity has opened up with a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) business based in Solihull.  They've recently been acquired by a larger software business, as a result they're going to be rapidly increasing the size of their sales team in Solihull.  As part of this expansion, they're looking to create a brand new sales team to sell their solutions into the US market.

The Business Development Representative (BDR) role is an outbound phone-based position, where you'll be responsible for calling potential customers in the States.  Your aim will be to generate leads & set up meetings for the Account Executives, who will then demonstrate the software in a separate meeting.

We're looking for people who have a passion for sales & love selling over the phone as you'll be doing around 50-60 calls/day.  This is more important to them than having any software sales experience - as they can teach you how to sell the software, but it's tougher to teach drive & determination.  So if you're in a high-volume phone-based sales role - whether that be business-to-business (B2B) or business-to-consumer (B2C), we want to hear from you.

The role is permanent, it's offering a £30,000 - £35,000 basic salary + £15,000 - £20,000 on target commission (which is uncapped, so you can exceed this!).  There are also progression opportunities available, either to a Team Lead role, or to an Account Executive.

As the role is selling into the American market, they obviously have to allow for the time difference, so one important factor to note is that the working hours for this role will be 2pm - 10pm.  The role will be based from their Solihull office, Monday to Friday.

If this sounds of interest please apply immediately, as interviews will be taking place straight away!
