  • Business Development Representative
  • £30,000 per annum basic
  • £5000 annual performance bonus, paid quarterly
  • NG1, NO parking

Due to internal promotion our client, a specialist professional services organisation with a reputation for providing the highest quality of service, are keen to appoint a skilled Sales Development Representative!

You will engage new business opportunities which will support the growth of the overall Business Development team.

You’ll be a natural self-starter with a flair for communication. This is a B2B role so you will be able to communicate effectively with different clients, from larger corporate organisations through to smaller scale operations.

Duties:

  • Calling new potential clients with the aim of booking new business appointments
  • Qualifying prospects to a high level to offer the best chance of conversion
  • Maintaining CRM system with accurate data
  • Building and managing a pipeline
  • Working closely with the Account Management team to identify areas of opportunity.
  • Researching new potential targets
  • Following up marketing / networking events

About you:

  • You will be an excellent communicator, both written and verbal, who can build effective relationships with a variety of audiences, through a confident and positive attitude.
  • You’ll be resilient, effectively handling objections.
  • You will have the ability to identify what keeps the customer awake at night with the talent to link them to areas of our business that can add value.
  • You’ll be self-motivated, and a great team player, adding value to strong, well-rounded team.
  • Tenacity is key

Previous experience selling within the professional services or recruitment market would be desirable.
