The Opportunity:
Nigel Wright Group is supporting a global tech software solutions company in their search for a Business Development Specialist. The company provides a niche and complex software product into a range of customers across the manufacturing industry and this role will specifically suit someone with strong software solution sales experience crafted in a regulated sector. The role is a blend of attracting new business but also growing existing clients. This is a hybrid role with regular travel to the Teesside based head office as well as client visits across the UK. 

Role Profile:
•    Conduct a mix of proactive outreach methods and sales activities as well as handling leads from the marketing team
•    Carry out thorough fact finds and be involved in product demos 
•    Meet clients face to face and online
•    Provide solution based recommendations to customers and manage the pipeline effectively
•    Build strong long term working relationships with clients based on trust and professionalism
•    Provide the highest standard of service

Person Specification:
•    A super hungry but “non-salesy” character 
•    Strong interpersonal and communication skills
•    A good understanding of how to solution sell into regulated industries (legal/manufacturing/pharma etc) would be highly advantageous 
•    5 years experience in a B2B sales role
•    A proven track record of building professional relationships
•    Experience in conducting sales training
•    Ability to manage a sales pipeline and work independently 
•    Background in EH&S / Chemicals would be advantageous
