Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst

£40k- £50k + Fantastic Benefits

Central Bristol/ Hybrid

Leading business is looking to bring in a BI Analyst to the growing team, someone who is passionate about for data, visualisations, and story-telling through data.

This is an exciting opportunity to gain personal development whilst work in a collaborative and supportive working environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Analysis: Analyse large and complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
  • Reporting: Develop, maintain, and manage advanced reporting, analytics, dashboards, and other BI solutions.
  • Data Visualization: Create compelling visualizations to communicate findings effectively to stakeholders.
  • Business Recommendations: Provide data-driven recommendations to improve business performance and support strategic decision-making.
  • Stakeholder Interaction: Collaborate with various business units to understand their data needs and ensure BI solutions meet their requirements.

Experience/Skills:

  • Experience: Proven experience as a BI Analyst or in a similar role.
  • BI Tools Proficiency: Experience with any of the following BI tools: Cognos, Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Data Visualisation: Ability to create effective data visualizations. Skilled in visualising information by selecting the most appropriate chart types for each situation;.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.

Any SQL experience is a nice to have.
