Title - Business Intelligence Manager

Salary - £65k + 2 x company cars

Location - Slough (Hybrid)

One of our prestigious clients is looking for a Business Intelligence Manager. In this key role, you'll work cross-functionally to provide, maintain and update end-to-end business intelligence solutions. Your responsibilities will include data architecture, data warehousing, business intelligence management and reporting, data visualisation and modelling and data provision to our head office.

Key Responsibilities of BI Manager:

• Develop and implement IT data strategy, architecture, and roadmaps.

• Manage day-to-day operational BI, ensuring data quality and integrity.

• Provide second-line application support and resolve data quality issues.

• Collaborate with stakeholders and third-party suppliers to resolve BI landscape problems.

• Schedule, test, and deliver BI application upgrades.

• Proactively suggest improvements to data architecture and processes.

• Identify business drivers requiring BI changes and recommend BI projects.

• Ensure security, confidentiality, and integrity of data.

• Maintain a library of business data definitions, processes, and data flows.

Requirements for BI Manager:

• Experience in data warehousing, data architecture, design, technologies, and toolsets.

• Strong understanding of IT BI applications and services, with practical SQL coding ability.

• Technical IT background, ideally in financial services.

• Proficiency with SQL Server database, data warehousing principles, and ETL tools.

• Familiarity with reporting/visualisation tools such as Business Objects, Qlik, Tableau, and/or PanIntelligence.
