Job Title: Business Systems Administrator

Location: Glasgow

Overview:

We are recruiting on behalf of a law firm in Glasgow for a Business Sysyems Administrator to join their IT Department. This role focuses on managing and enhancing their integrated Case Management System. Ideal for a proactive individual, this position requires a passion for delivering high-quality results in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • System Administration:
    • Manage and configure the Case Management System.
  • Documentation:
    • Maintain detailed system configuration documentation.
  • Template Development:
    • Create and manage document templates with automated data tagging.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration:
    • Gather and document requirements for workflow changes.
  • Workflow Design:
    • Develop and update legal workflows using a Visual Workflow Designer.
  • User Support:
    • Provide second-line support to system users.

Context: Our client has recently upgraded their Case Management System and is continuously improving it. The current focus is on transitioning to the latest version, making this role essential for a smooth upgrade and system enhancement.

Skills and Experience:
  • Expertise in business process modeling, workflow design, and form automation.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to translate functional requirements into technical solutions.
  • Experience in change management from needs assessment to implementation.
  • Excellent communication and technical documentation skills.
  • Knowledge of IT activities such as application development, configuration, and databases.
  • Proven ability to deliver high-quality results on time.
  • Technological proficiency and innovative thinking.
  • Familiarity with legal practices and/or Case Management systems is advantageous.
  • SQL Server query writing knowledge is a plus.
