Business Teacher

  • Salary: £31,357 to £43,729 per annum including London Weighting
  • Location: North West London
  • Job Type: Full-time

We are seeking a knowledgeable and dedicated Business Teacher to Further Education Provider, which is renowned for delivering A Level, AS, GCSE, and BTEC courses. The successful candidate will teach AS and A level Business and contribute to our tradition of excellence.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Deliver high-quality teaching in AS and A level Business, following the AQA specification.
  • Engage and inspire young people aged 16-19 through effective teaching practices.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of innovative teaching strategies.
  • Assess, monitor, and provide feedback on students’ progress.
  • Participate in curriculum development and departmental meetings.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a high standard of education.
  • Support students in their progression to business-related qualifications at university.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • A degree in Business or a closely related subject.
  • Teaching experience in the subject area up to A level in a Further Education college environment.
  • Excellent teaching and learning skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to engage and inspire students.
  • Willingness to obtain a Level 5 teaching qualification if not already held (support provided by the College).
