Business Studies Teacher - Swindon

Location: Swindon, Wiltshire
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience
Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent
Start Date: September 2025

Academics Ltd is seeking a passionate and dedicated Business Teacher to join a highly regarded secondary school in Swindon. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching Business Studies to GCSE and A-Level students, with the ability to engage and inspire students to achieve their potential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons in Business Studies at KS4 and KS5.

  • Prepare and assess coursework, exams, and other assessments for Business Teacher students.

  • Support students' academic and personal growth, providing pastoral care as needed.

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to contribute to the overall development of the curriculum.

  • Participate in school-wide events and professional development opportunities.

Key Requirements:
  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent, with relevant subject experience.

  • Strong knowledge of Business Studies curriculum at GCSE and A-Level.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Passion for teaching and helping students succeed.

  • Experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential.
