Our client has a new exciting opportunity for a Butcher, to be based on site in Surrey. You will be supporting the team and giving advice to customers on a daily basis.

Main responsibilities:

  • Greeting customers and advising on products
  • Ensuring stock levels are maintained
  • Ensure displays are tidy and hygiene is maintained at all times
  • Daily care of the shop
  • Ensuring prices, signage & labels are up to date & make sure the displays eye catching, clean and relevant
  • Preparation of products & assisting with smooth running of the department
  • Identify and report Health & Safety issues

Experience required:

  • Good communication skills and ability to deal with customers
  • Ability to adhere to Health & Safety regulations
  • Good stock control experience
  • Knowledge of different meat products, ie: pork, lamb, beef and chicken
  • Good knife / cutting skills
