Buyer

This role is for a diligent Buyer ready to contribute significantly to the procurement and supply chain department within the industrial/manufacturing industry. The successful candidate will be a team member with a keen eye for detail, ready to manage and streamline procurement processes in our client's Castleford location.

Description

• Oversee and manage every stage of the purchasing process
• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers
• Ensure products are delivered on time and within budget
• Conduct market research to identify new potential suppliers
• Implement strategies for procuring, storing, and distributing goods
• Negotiate contracts with suppliers to ensure the best cost and quality
• Manage risks related to procurement and supply chain
• Work closely with other departments to forecast future needs

Profile

• Experience in procurement and supply chain management within the industrial/manufacturing industry
• Strong negotiation and relationship management skills
• Excellent analytical and strategic thinking abilities
• Proficiency in using procurement software and other related tools
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure

Job Offer

• An estimated salary range of £30,000 - £35,000 per annum
