ARM are delighted to be supporting a really exciting business in Teesside with the recruitment of a Buyer on a permanent basis.

The key purpose of the Buyer is to provide support to all aspects of the Purchasing and Supply Chain function for delivery to customers worldwide.

Requirements:

* Raise/Create RFQ's, RTO's, Purchase and Repair Orders.
* Expedite outstanding Quotations, Orders and Repairs to ensure promised delivery dates.
* Maintaining previously set re-order levels with economic batch ordering and best practice applied.
* Produce and maintain Shortage and Open order book Reports.
* Develop and maintain good supplier relationships both external and internal.
* Liaise with appropriate parties to resolve queries e.g.. Purchase Order, Tech support, Production Support, Invoices and Quality Failures.
* Conduct Regular Supplier Review Meetings.

Requirements:

* Experience of Procurement of Aircraft Spares, Raw Materials and Chemicals (Desirable)
* Previous Aerospace/Aviation experience (Desirable)
* Able to work with, influence and communicate with a wide range of stakeholders.
* Demonstrated ability to react, negotiate and manage multiple demands.
* Previous experience of working with ERP systems.
* Batchelors Degree or Equivalent (Desirable)
* CIPS Level 4 (or training towards)
