ABOUT OUR CLIENT:

Our client is a leading player in the automotive world, renowned for their commitment to luxury and innovation. They're embarking on an ambitious transformation, aiming to be completely carbon neutral and offer a 100% Battery Electric Vehicle lineup by 2030. �?

THE OPPORTUNITY:

As a Buyer, you'll become an integral part of our client's dynamic and commercially driven Procurement team. Working closely with diverse stakeholders, your role will involve procuring various indirect products and services to support the company's operations. You'll also have the chance to cultivate strong relationships with suppliers while managing the commercial aspects of service contracts. ??

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage procurement activities for a range of indirect products & services, using systematic sourcing processes.
• Lead tender processes to select suppliers, evaluating capability, cost, quality, and sustainability.
• Drive cost discipline through stakeholder engagement and effective planning.
• Achieve key objectives, including budget cost reductions and adherence to the purchase process.
• Represent the Procurement department in cross-functional meetings, making recommendations for process improvements. ??

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Purchasing experience, with proven negotiation and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication, influencing, and presentation abilities.
• Solid understanding of purchasing processes.

WHAT YOU'LL GET:
