We are seeking a Buyer/Procurement Executive to join our team, focusing on managing a portfolio of suppliers for both strategic and non-strategic packaging and raw materials. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing site in North Wales and maintaining optimal stock levels to meet demand.

• Source and manage suppliers for packaging and raw materials, ensuring competitive costs and quality standards.
• Manage stock levels of finished goods produced by the factory to meet company guidelines.
• Participate in demand planning and production planning to optimize stock and meet demand within stockholding parameters.
• Maintain and update all relevant records, systems, and contracts.
• Monitor suppliers' performance and take necessary actions to meet agreed targets.
• Work closely with sales, marketing, and operations to provide clear information on product availability.
• Ensure compliance with internal and external product safety requirements.

• A degree in business or a technical discipline.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in FMCG buying or supply chain, preferably within the food manufacturing sector.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access); knowledge of SAP is an advantage.
• CIPS or part CIPS qualification is beneficial.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment and work collaboratively in a team.
