A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Assistant Merchandiser to join a growing retail team on a permanent, part-time basis.

This role is ideal for someone with previous experience in a merchandising or buying support position, who’s looking for a flexible schedule and a supportive, close-knit team environment.

Assistant Merchandiser - Part Time

Location: Writtle, near Chelmsford - Must drive due to location

Salary: £13,000 - £18,000 per annum

Hours: 4 hours per day, 5 days a week (flexible morning schedule)office based

Key Responsibilities:

Support the Buyer with day-to-day operations

Prepare weekly reports and performance data

Manage delivery schedules and liaise with suppliers

Assist with planning promotions and stock forecasting

Monitor competitor activity and market trends

Set up products using internal systems (e.g. Shopify, CRM)

Carry out a range of administrative tasks to support the Buying team

Ideal Candidate:

Prior experience in merchandising or buying admin

Strong organisational and multitasking skills

Excellent attention to detail

Confident using Microsoft Office and relevant retail systems

A proactive, positive team player

Ideally located within 10-15 miles of Writtle, Essex
