C# .Net / .Net Core Developer - Newcastle - £45k pa - Hybrid working.

Our client who are a market leader in the development and provision of Retail software environments are looking for an experienced C# .Net / .Net Core Developer to join their expanding team based in Gateshead.

You will be responsible for

  • Dealing with multiple sprint priorities across different smaller projects.
  • Be responsible for delivery against your own/your teams your team's estimations.
  • Following and contributing to project development standards.
  • Working cross functionally in an agile team and across a matrix organisation.
  • Carry out sprint work in-line with milestone deadlines.
  • Conduct unit testing on own code.
  • Contribute to code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
  • Submit code for peer review and make modifications in line with feedback received.
  • Participate in team and work planning sessions, on requirements and system design sessions.
  • Escalate problems and exceptions that need to be addressed in a timely manner, with suggested solutions and workarounds.
  • On rotation, contribute to triaging and fixing priority issues.

It is expected that you will have at least 3 years recent experience of developing with C#.Net or C#.Net Core within a dynamic environment, in addition any experience in any of the following would be beneficial - ASP.NET, AngularJS, Blazor, ReactJS, JavaScript, Typescript, Web API.

The role is working 3 days in the office and 2 days from home.
