C++ Software Engineer

Location: Northamptonshire (Hybrid)

Salary: £38,000 - £48,000 (depending on experience)

We're working alongside a rapidly growing tech consultancy to find their next team member: an experienced C++ Software Engineer. They design and develop innovative solutions that make a positive impact on society and the environment.

This is a brilliant opportunity to be part of a company that values innovation, collaboration, and social responsibility. You will be involved in the full software development life cycle, from concept and design to testing and deployment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality C++ code for IoT applications.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.

- Participate in code reviews and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.

- Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and issues.

Requirements:

- Strong proficiency in C++ with a solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles.

- Bachelor's degree in Physics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

- Familiarity with database design & management

- Familiarity with IoT technologies and protocols is a plus.

- A keen interest in technology that drives positive social and environmental change.
