Location: Crowthorne

Salary: £25,000 - £28,000

My client based in Crowthorne is looking for a CAD Designer to join their team. They are looking for candidates who possess AutoCAD 2D & 3D REVIT software experience. You will work closely with the Design Team to assist in the development of current and new business. The primary function of this role is to have the ability to convert any technical concept into concise drawings using CAD or REVIT facilities.

Responsibilities:

Be able to interpret technical requests into drawings.

Work closely with the Project Team assisting with any troubleshooting or new developments.

Become an integral player in the design and development of existing equipment solution and services provided.

Good communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential to understand and respond to the client brief, so to produce the ideal design for their needs.

Liaise with internal staff and external customers to ascertain their needs prior to conversion into the required CAD drawings.

Assist with any other duties as required by the business in line with your skill set and experience.

Skills & Experience:

Must possess AutoCAD 2D & 3D REVIT software experience and be qualified to City and Guilds standard or equivalent.

Must be able to create visualisations and "walk-throughs" so the client is fully engaged in the design that is being proposed.

Must be able to work equally as well as part of a team or on your own.

Possess excellent organisational and interpersonal skills. This role will involve liaising with a variety of stakeholders withing the business including internal staff, customer and suppliers.

Be able to agree and meet reasonable time scales for the work required.

Pay attention to detail and quality with a continuous improvement mind set and ability to multitask.
