SolidWorks Design Drafter

Temporary ongoing assignment (Approx 6 months), Haywards Heath, £18-£22 per hour (depending on experience), paid weekly, Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week 8am - 4pm (can be flexible), accrual of 33 days holiday, Christmas shutdown, subsidised canteen, parking onsite and very close to Haywards Heath station.

The Role:

Our client is a world leading manufacturer and aftermarket service provider of comprehensive flow control systems.

They are seeking a Design Drafter experienced with SolidWorks to support a project to convert Export Controlled Inventor models and drawings into SolidWorks. The drafter will be expected to create existing 3D models from the ground up in SolidWorks based on their Inventor counterparts and then create 2D drawings, whilst ensuring they meet the company CAD guidelines.

Requirements:

It is essential that you are very experienced using SolidWorks and are willing and able to spend most of the time doing repetitive CAD conversion work. A high level of attention is paramount for this role. This assignment would suit a newly qualified Engineering or Design Graduate looking for some industry experience or a seasoned and experienced CAD professional seeking a short-term assignment between contracts.

Due to security requirements, you must be a UK National and be eligible for Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) clearance.
