CAD Engineer
Elevation Recruitment Group are working alongside a manufacturer based in Bradford to recruit a CAD Engineer.
Salary: up to £50,000 p.a
Hours: 38.25 hours per week
Office based4days in the office 1-day WFH
Reporting to the CAD Team Leader, theCAD Engineer will produce general arrangements and detailed manufacturing drawings of their products and work collaboratively with the in-house Engineering and Operations teams.
Duties of the CAD Engineer will include:
- Design, develop and engineer high-quality 3D models ofproducts
- Produce initial GA drawings to submit for customer approval and develop them into detailed manufacturingdrawings,using Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD Software.
- Produce “As Built”drawings
- Liaise with our internal Engineering / Operations Teams and our external customers
- Offer suggestions for design changes to increase production efficiencies and optimise materialusage
- Communicate at all levels within the business, contribute ideas during design team meetings and undertake site visits/customer meetings asrequired
- Always ensure drawing accuracy and programme deadlines aremet
- Be customer focussed and committed to delivering excellentservice
- Ensure that all workis undertakenin compliance with our company’s internal design, safety, quality and environmentalprocesses
We would like to speak with CAD Engineers with the following skills:
- Experience producing 3D drawings using Autodesk Inventor and 2D drawings using AutoCAD software.
- Experience using Autodesk Vault software
- Experience working for a manufacturing company
