Location: Summerfield House, Kidderminster - Worcestershire / Working from home
Salary: £24,000-25,000 FTE (Pro-rata for part time) plus benefits, depending on experience
Contract: Full Time Permanent

Eco2Solar are pleased to announce a new and exciting opportunity for the right candidate to join the UKs largest and most successful Solar PV installer (who were recently invested in by EON) as a CAD Technician, based in our Kidderminster office.

About the role

The role of the CAD Technician offers the right candidate the opportunity to build, develop and grow their career with a highly reputable and growing company.

As a CAD Technician, you will be responsible for providing fast and accurate solutions and hands-on support to our customers to help them achieve the necessary energy targets from the proposed PV solar systems. Your mission as a key member of our busy design team will be to design solar PV systems for new build developments using CAD software, carry out internal quality checks on drawings and issue these to clients for approval. You will also be involved in the administrative tasks associated with this role.

Having the ability to work both as part of a team and also take overall responsibility for your personal workload, whilst delivering excellent levels of service is essential. A desire to put our clients’ needs first and a thirst to develop your own skills is a key part of fitting into this established team.

This role is perfect for someone who has a strong background in administration and is starting out in CAD or who has previous experience and is looking for a new and exciting challenge in a fast-growing organisation.

About you

To be successful in this role you’ll have strong communication skills, great attention to detail, process driven and excellent problem-solving skills. You will need to be reliable and a team player with good computer skills across a number of programs such as Outlook, Excel, and Word plus a great telephone manner. Some CAD experience is important, but training will be provided.
