Yolk Engineering is happy to be supporting an award winning manufacturer in their search for a CAD Technician. You would be joining a team who are experts in their field and a company that boasts over 45 years experience in the Design and Manufacture of a leading Niche product.
You will be working closely with the technical manager and alongside the sales team and joining a progressive and forward-thinking company where you will showcase your skills and knowledge using AutoCAD to design their products.

This is what you'll be doing as CAD Technician:

• Actively contribute and support the business to explore new and exciting product expansion opportunities.
• Undertaking 2D AutoCAD product design for projects.
• Producing Manufacturing Drawings in AutoCAD for final drawing approval with clients.
• Work with the team to utilise extensive product knowledge to address customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Interpret technical CAD drawing to help customers understand product specifications and requirements.
• Receiving and interpreting client briefs on projects and requirements.
• Assist in the design of custom-made products, ensuring alignment with customer specifications.

The experience you'll bring to the team as CAD Technician:

• Strong knowledge and experience of using AutoCAD LT.
• Ability to read technical drawings.
• Excellent decision-making abilities.
• Strong analytical skills coupled with practical, hands-on problem-solving approach.
• Able to demonstrate exceptional organisation and planning skills.
• Strong decision making, action planning and prioritisation skills.
