Cake Maker

£12.50 per hour (24+ hours per week)

We’re looking for a friendly person to make cakes, traybakes and savouries in our local village bakery in Broughton-in-Furness — so if you love baking and cooking, this could be the perfect role for you.

As our Cake Maker, you’ll:

- Be responsible for opening up the bakery in the morning
- Monitor oven temperatures, humidity and baking times
- Craft and create new and exciting products for our bakery
- Work with pace to agreed timelines and to high standards
- Keep work areas clean and tidy and comply with food hygiene and safety requirements

You’ll need to have:

- A passion for baking and for delivering great customer service
- Initiative and an exceptional eye for detail
