Calibration Engineer

A Norwich-based organisation is seeking a Calibration Engineer to work within their Calibration Laboratory in Norwich. The successful candidate will be responsible for calibrating, fault-finding/repairing a vast range of electrical and mechanical equipment to national/international standards and to customer specifications/requirements.

Ideally, the successful candidate will have worked within a Calibration Laboratory and be familiar with ISO 17025 (UKAS) with experience of calibrating a wide variety of equipment and show a willingness to learn new techniques and disciplines. The successful candidate should preferably hold a technical qualification such as HND, HNC, NVQ/BTEC 3.

Candidate requirements

  • Good communication skills and ability to work on your own or as part of a team.
  • Accurate and precise recording skills.
  • Full Driving Licence with no more than 3 points.
  • Willingness to travel once or twice a month to customers within the UK.
  • Be computer literate preferably with a knowledge of Mac operating systems.

Other details

  • Working hours Monday - Thursday 8.30am - 5.00pm Friday 8.30am - 13.00.
  • Salary - dependant on experience.
