Calibration Engineer

As a Calibration Engineer, you will provide engineering reports with program status activity reports covering technical deliverables and business performance. You will also record and analyse test data using current analytical and product development IT tools relevant to engine software and control systems.

In your first few weeks in this Calibration Engineer role, you can expect to:

• Develop and apply test control and measurement systems for calibration, engine emissions testing, after-treatment systems durability testing, regeneration and emissions reduction performance
• Participate in root cause failure analysis during the development process
• Find and recommend practical solutions for specific failure modes as related to calibration parameters or calibration related engine and emissions systems performance.

To apply for this Calibration Engineer role, your soft skills, expertise and experience should include:

• Ideally a degree in Mechanical Engineering or other related degree (or proven experience)
• Experience with diesel calibration, test, development and systems engineering
• Experience running base engine calibration activities in a dyno environment, including base engine mapping and calibration validation
• Mechanical knowledge (applied/fitter/dyno operator)
• Experience working in a small team to achieve a common goal
• The ability to self-manage and work under pressure to deliver in an ever-changing and environment.
