Attention all call centre professionals! Are you ready to take your career to the next level? ? This London based (Euston Road, Nr Regents Park) are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Group Sales Team Manager.

circa £40k, great office and team, benefits listed below. Office based 4 days, 1day home/remote

They are looking for a motivated, experienced leader to join the team and drive sales to new heights. We are looking for someone with a background in call centre management, who possesses the skills to inspire and motivate their team to achieve success.

As the ideal candidate, you will have a proven track record of exceeding sales targets and possess the ability to effectively communicate and coach your team to greatness.

As the Group Sales Team Leader, you will be the key point of contact for the team of Sales Consultants. You will ensure a strong sales culture is driven throughout the group sales department, leading to successful conversion rates and reaching key KPIs.

Aspects of the role; you will supported to develop in to the job responsibilities.

• Support the Group Sales Manager (GSM) in the development of a proactive sales culture within the group team to surpass revenue forecasts.

• Proactively support and lead the consultants to exceed organisational sales targets whilst delivering excellent customer service levels.

• Support the GSM to build relationships with regional tourism associations, tour operators and conference venues.

• Assist GSM in driving new group sales products.

• Ensure complete and accurate recording and tracking of sales, invoicing, and ticketing for all group bookings.

• Instil a proactive sales culture within Group Travel Team and develop sales consultants to up-sell premium products such as First Class, Standard Premium and exclusive carriages.

• Deliver consistent sales performance, ensuring periodic revenue targets are achieved.

• Liaise closely with colleagues to implement business development opportunities in line with the Groups business strategy.

• Review the productivity of the team, ensuring inbound calls and new webform & email enquiries are responded to in a timely manner.

• Support the GSM in delivering sales meetings, identifying, communicating, and following up opportunities.

• Monitor the performance of the team of consultants, both in relation to productivity and call quality.

• Deliver weekly 1-1’s with the sales team.

• Attendance and support with the planning of key industry events promoting the group travel offering to the group’s core markets.

• Be the stand-in for GSM point of contact within the Commercial team for Group Sales, effectively communicating with all internal departments and external clients to ensure a successful delivery.

• Support GSM in P&L for Group Sales with agreed targets; required to maintain accurate financial practices including invoicing, and periodic reporting within the income report.

• Deliver key business updates and periodic reporting to senior management in the absence of the GSM.

• Work with the GSM to develop a robust account management approach for the Group Sales portfolio of clients including development plans, undertaking after-sales research and periodic/strategic reviews.

• Ensure a robust process is in place that delivers a commercial specification for each group booking reflecting agreed client requirements and communicate this to all relevant parties internally and externally.

• Work with internal and external stakeholders to oversee developments of new systems to be used by Group Sales team as well as improvements to existing systems.

• Ensuring accurate recording of bookings including bookings being recorded under the correct market in the CRM system, ensure billing addresses are inputted correctly on all invoices.

• Processing all customer BAC’s payments

• Being the first point of contact for any escalated customer complaints.

• Support the team with large and complex bookings.

• Produce monthly team rotas and monitor the punctuality of the team.

• Negotiate with the Revenue Management Team to ensure competitive pricing on large group bookings can be offered to customers.
