Care And Support Administrator

Location: MK15, Willen, Milton Keynes

Salary: £17,000 per annum

P/T 9am-2pm Mon - Friday (25 hpw)

Our client are a £5m Milton Keynes charity that supports adults with learning disabilities, an organisation that is person centred and values working together as a community.

We are looking for an experienced part-time Care & Support Administrator, with strong communication and organisation skills, to support their Care Management Team. This is an interesting and varied role which requires attention to detail and the ability to empathise with a diverse range of people.

Responsibilities for the role:

  • Assist the Care Management Team with administrative tasks
  • Organise reviews and maintain trackers to record care and support activities.
  • Maintain accurate records of referrals and their progress, reporting regularly to the Care Quality Manager.
  • Complete documents required by commissioners or local authority teams.
  • Provide reception duties as required
  • Develop professional relationships with referring and funding professionals.
  • Ensure that all office procedures and systems are followed accurately.
  • Maintain an accessible communication standard for residents.
  • Uphold Health and Safety and infection control practices.
  • Use technology and internal systems effectively for record keeping and communication.

Skills for this role:

  • Knowledge of social care practices and relevant legislation is desirable.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to empathise with a diverse range of people.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other relevant software
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and data protection standards.

You will ideally have knowledge of social care practices and relevant legislations. You will have previous experience in a similar role.
