They play a crucial role in managing and improving housing services in the Borough, ensuring that residents have access to safe, affordable, and well-maintained homes.
They provide specialized support for vulnerable tenants, including those with disabilities, older residents, and individuals facing homelessness. Their services include sheltered housing schemes and support for independent living.
The Role:
- Develop and maintain financial models for pricing council contracts.
- Negotiate effectively with councils to secure favorable terms.
- Provide strategic financial insights to support decision-making.
- Responsible for all aspects of budgeting, financial performance reporting & forecasting and financial business analysis in respect of care and support.
- To take a key role in preparing the 5-year budget, develop a more responsive budgeting system which is aligned to strategic plans and delivers improved bottom line performance.
- Proven experience as a Finance Business Partner in the care and support sector.
- Strong negotiation skills and experience with council contract pricing.
- Excellent financial modeling and analytical skills.
- Competitive salary of £57,000-£60,000.
- Travel to Edgware two days a week to work closely with the local team.
- 25 days annual leave, rising with length of service
