We are currently working with a local NHS Trust who are seeking a Band 6 Care Coordinator to join their Early Intervention team in Milton Keynes.

Working hours: Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm

Contract length: 3 month initial contract with the view of extension

Location: Milton Keynes

Rate of pay: £27p/h Umbrella

Key responsibilities:

  • Provide early detection, assessment, and intervention for individuals aged 14-65 experiencing a first episode of psychosis.
  • Implement evidence-based treatments to mitigate the impact of psychosis on individuals and their families.
  • Manage a caseload of patients, providing comprehensive care coordination.
  • Conduct initial assessments and participate in duty tasks.
  • Perform delegated duties with high efficiency and professionalism.

About the team: The service provides early detection, assessment, and intervention for individuals aged 14-65 experiencing a first episode of psychosis. We aim to provide evidence-based treatments to reduce the impact of psychosis on individuals and their families.

Requirements:

  • Registered Mental Health Nurse with a valid NMC Pin
  • Experience working within a community setting
  • EIP experience essential
