Careers Advisor

£34,773.64 to £36,451.75 per annum (1 FTE £40,076.00 to £42,010.00 per annum pro rata)

36 hours per week, Term Time Only

We have an exciting opportunity for a Careers Advisor to join our Advice & Recruitment Team. You will provide professional career guidance services, including personal guidance interviews, in order to improve pupils’ skills, knowledge and understanding for career planning and management.

You will be educated to degree level or have significant relevant experience in Careers and hold a Level 6 qualification in Careers Advice and Guidance. Experience of delivering careers related learning to groups is essential as is knowledge of the CDI Framework and Gatsby Benchmarks.

You must also have experience of working in, or providing, an information, advice and guidance service within a post-16 setting together with experience of supporting UCAS and clearing processes through the provision of up to date advice and guidance to students and staff.

Effective communication skills including written and verbal and the ability to relate to a wide range of people and organisations are also key.
