Job Title: Caretaker/Handyman
Salary: £22,119
Starting ASAP - Temporary Ongoing
Hours: 36 per week - 12 hour day shift patterns Monday to Friday

Elevation Recruitment are delighted to be exclusively working with an education provider based in Barnsley.

Due to an internal move, they are looking for 2 x caretakers to join the team, starting ASAP.

Main Duties will include:

Maintenance, cleaning and security of all college assets
Security Patrols
Testing/Operating the fire alarm
Carrying out routine maintenance tasks - basic joinery, painting, basic plumbing etc
Assist with refurbishment projects
Measuring up for new projects and ordering materials
Assist with cleaning the classrooms after teaching days are complete
Supporting with on site deliveries
Assisting with the operation and maintenance of the plant and heating systems
Basic Electrical - changing light bulbs, testing for faults etc
Gritting Paths during winter months
Porter Duties where required

This is a great opportunity for an individual to make a role there own. 
Ideally you will have previous experience of working within a similar role and have basic knowledge on handyman duties.

The role will require someone to be able to drive to get around site and also if required to go off site for anything. They also have college vehicles available.
