Are you interested in working as a School Caretaker?

We are currently looking to recruit a Caretaker/Handyperson/Maintenance Assistant to work for a secondary school school based near Romford, East London.

Hours of work are Monday to Friday 8am to 2pm, 9am to 3pm and 4pm to 10pm.  The role pays £15.00 per hour as a PAYE employee and £18.00 per hour as an Umbrella Contractor.

Duties - General Caretaker/Handyperson/Maintenance Assistant duties including weekly fire alarm checks, general repairs and maintenance within the school, unblocking sinks/toilets, painting and decorating, fixing door/window handles, painting and decorating, replacing toilet seats, putting up shelves/pin boards, daily health and safety checks, overseeing Contractors on site, porterage, moving furniture, delivering parcels around the building, litter picking, sweeping up leaves, emptying bins, replenishing supplies around the building eg. Soap, paper towels and hand sanitizer, grounds maintenance and all other duties as required.
