Caretaker

Empowering Learning is a market-leading education recruitment company. We are working in partnership with a large Academy Trust based with schools based in Harrogate and Leeds. The Trust are seeking to appoint a Caretaker/Site Supervisor to work across multiple sites. This job is to work 37.5 hours per week at their Leeds and Harrogate-based schools. This is a split job to work two days at one school and three days at the other school. To do this job you MUST be able to drive and have your own transport. The job is a temp to perm job for the right candidate.

The job

A School Caretaker is responsible for maintaining and securing a school premises. School Caretakers handle various tasks, including building maintenance, groundskeeping, health and safety inspections, security monitoring and cleaning. They ensure that the school environment is safe, clean and conducive to learning.

The successful candidate will

• Experience as a Caretaker/Site supervisor or similar.
• Have Health and Safety experience.
• Hold maintenance or building qualifications and experience.
• Be a driver with your own experience.
• Be able to work across split sites.
• Work between the hours of 7 am to 7 pm.
