This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled tradesperson who can multi-task and carry out small works in other trade disciplines. About the Role: As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for providing high-quality maintenance and repair services to council properties. Your work will involve a variety of carpentry tasks, including:
Installation, maintenance, and repairs of doors, windows, and general woodwork.
UPVC installation and property maintenance.
Small works in other trade areas such as basic plumbing, plastering, or decorating.
Liaising with residents, peers, and colleagues to ensure excellent customer service.
What We’re Looking For:
Experience in carpentry and property maintenance within a social housing or similar environment.
Knowledge of UPVC installation would be an advantage.
A practical understanding of the construction and property maintenance industry.
The ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple tasks effectively.
Strong communication and customer service skills, as you will be engaging with residents and colleagues daily.
