Reed is currently supporting a Training Establishment in Rotherham in their recruitment of Lecturer in Carpentry and Joinery. This role offers a fantastic opportunity for experienced educators looking for a new challenge. You will play a crucial role in shaping the future of skilled carpenters by delivering outstanding education and training.

Day-to-Day of the Role:
  • Deliver outstanding teaching up to Level 3, including study programmes, adult programmes, and apprenticeships in carpentry and joinery.
  • Engage students in both workshop and classroom environments with an enthusiastic and engaging approach.
  • Motivate students and support them to achieve their potential through the delivery of practical, theoretical, and digital content.
  • Monitor and track learner progress to promote positive outcomes.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Vocational qualification at Level 3 or above in a relevant field.
  • Relevant teaching qualification.
  • Enhanced DBS, subscribed to the Update Service (applications still welcome who do not currently have their DBS)
  • Ability to bring the subject to life with a combination of practical, theoretical, and digital methods.
