Location: Christchurch

Salary: Dependent on Experience/£120- £140 per day

Are you an experienced teacher with QTS seeking some flexible teaching work in Christchurch? GSL Education is currently hiring dedicated individuals who are interested in the role of a Casual Supply Teacher, for schools within the Christchurch area. As a Casual Supply Teacher, you will be filling in for teachers when they are absent, so that children’s education is not disturbed. The schools GSL are working with have a positive and helpful environment for both students and adults, allowing casual teachers to work at ease, and feel supported.

Although this work is flexible, it is a great way to get your foot in the door ahead of any permanent positions, should this be something which interests you in the future.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  1. Appropriate teaching qualifications and current teacher registration.

Any teachers interested in this opportunity are required to:

  1. Hold a PGCE /QTS/QTLS
  2. Be confident within their behaviour management skills and be able to adapt to different school’s behaviour policies
  3. Be prepared to cover a range of subjects and year groups within primary schools

  • Have the right to work in the UK.
  • Have an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from within the last 2 years.
  • Have a DBS registered to the update service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education
