Our leading Facilities Management client is seeking a Catering Assistant to join the team in Cardiff (CF11 9XB) Working at a local office, you will support the kitchen staff with the preparation of food and drinks
Overview
- Monday to Friday 12pm to 6:30pm
- Overtime available if required
- PAY RATE: £11.44 + Holiday (weekly pay) + Pension
- Temp contract - Potential for permanent position for the right candidate
- Full training provided

Duties include:
- Assist in the preparation and serving of food and beverages
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of catering areas
- Set up and clear tables and dining areas
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest needs
- Monitor food stock levels and report shortages or wastage
- Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are maintained at all times
- Help with the transportation and delivery of catering items to events
- Support the kitchen staff with food preparation tasks
- Handle cash transactions and process payments when required
- Maintain equipment and report any faults or damages
- Assist in the setup and breakdown of catering events and functions
- Follow company procedures and policies for service delivery
Experience needed:
- Customer service skills
- Hard working and reliable
- Immediate to start
- Reliable and committed
- Updated DBS issued within the last 12 months.
- Level 2 Food Certificate
