CDM Advisor

A large and reputable consultancy specializing in industries such as healthcare, civic, residential, industrial, and science is seeking a skilled CDM Advisor to join their team in the Newcastle. This consultancy is renowned for its high-quality project delivery and maintaining industry-leading standards across a diverse range of sectors.

The CDM Advisor Role

The successful CDM Advisor will be responsible for ensuring compliance with CDM regulations and managing health and safety risks across various high-profile projects. You will collaborate closely with clients, design teams, and contractors to provide expert advice and ensure health and safety considerations are integrated into all stages of the design and construction process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Advising on and ensuring compliance with CDM regulations
• Conducting health and safety audits and inspections
• Managing health and safety risks and ensuring best practices are followed
• Preparing and reviewing pre-construction information and health and safety files
• Coordinating with clients, designers, and contractors to meet project requirements

The CDM Advisor:

• Degree qualified in a relevant discipline (e.g., health and safety, construction management)
• NEBOSH Construction Certificate or equivalent
• Proven experience in a CDM Advisor role within the construction or real estate industry
• Strong knowledge of CDM regulations and health and safety standards
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
