Celebrity and Talent Manager
An exciting position has arisen for a Celebrity and Talent Manager to join an excellent Children’s Charity on a permanent basis
The postholder will be reporting directly to the Head of Media and will play an instrumental role in propelling the Charities social visibility.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and manage strategic celebrity and ambassador programs to enhance visibility and align with priorities
- Recruit diverse celebrities with personal connections as an ambassador and manage a portfolio of high-profile supporters
- Collaborate with Media and PR teams to create and execute effective media and celebrity strategies
- Pitch projects to celebrities and their agents, securing their support to amplify the organization's work
- Manage and prioritize requests for celebrity involvement and organise related activities
- Handle reputation management of celebrity supporters, ensuring alignment with values and managing risks
- Contribute to budget planning for celebrity activities, ensuring they meet financial targets for fundraising
- Monitor and report on the financial impact of celebrity support
- Build relationships with media and entertainment professionals
- Stay updated on current events and trends involving relevant celebrities
Successful candidate profile:
- At least 5 years’ worth of experience in talent relations and celebrity management
- Extensive network within talent agencies, PR agencies, and media outlets
- Experience working in a similar role in the Charity sector
- Exceptional negotiation, organisational, and communication skills
- Proficiency in project management and campaigns
Salary: £38,390.76 per annum (national) or £41,189.64 per annum (London) + excellent benefits
Hours: 35 per week
Location: Remote, UK Wide (1 day per month travel to London HQ)
