Title: Cell Scientist (Various levels)

Location: North West England

Duration: Permanent

Our client is looking for Cell Scientists at various levels to join their fast growing team in the North West of England.

Responsibilities:

  • Experience an knowledge of Cell based Potency assays including method development and validation is essential
  • Knowledge of practical aspects of cell based assay techniques and Method Validation
  • Experience in performing Cell based assays using a variety of analytical platforms including plate based formats.
  • Develop new techniques and technologies within laboratory
  • Experience of Flow Cytometry and/or Molecular techniques is an advantage.
  • Detailed understanding of theoretical basis of the Cell based assay techniques
  • Ability to generate and technically review reports.
  • Demonstrate innovative method development as required, drawing on literature as required
  • Excellent client communication and service.


Requirements:

ABOUT YOU:
  • BSc / MSc/ PhD or equivalent in Biology/Chemistry (or related scientific discipline) is essential.
  • Industry experience is essential
  • Analysis by Cell based assays is essential
  • Experience in Flow Cytometry and/or Molecular techniques is an advantage.
  • In-depth knowledge of Cell based assay techniques with extensive experience of analysis of biopharmaceuticals, small and/or large molecules.
  • Experience of Cell based assay method development and validation.
  • Comprehensive experience of working in a GxP regulatory laboratory
  • Method development and validation experience
