Berry Recruitment are looking for a Temporary Administrator to work within the Cemeteries Department of a local authority.
This role is to start ASAP for 4 weeks with a possible extension.
30 hours a week - Monday to Friday 9am to 3.30pm (half hour break).
Hourly pay rate £14.03.
The candidate will be working with the Cemeteries Officer providing general admin support, creating and maintaining burial records and cemeteries information.
Main Duties:
- Taking telephone bookings from funeral directors ensuring all paperwork is processed and completed
- Processing payments and maintaining financial records
- Maintain and update databases and reports
- Answering general service enquires
- Sensitively manage bereaved families phone calls
- Liaise with cemeteries operations
Candidate Requirements:
- Strong administration experience
- Computer literate
- Previous experience within a bereavement service or equivalent services environment is desirable
- Attention to detail
- Sensitively manage bereaved families phone calls
