Marks Sattin Executive Search is working with a high-growth, PE-backed Insurtech SME seeking a distinguished CFO to become a key member of the executive team, whilst working alongside the CEO in making strategic decisions. With several M&A projects and genuine development opportunities in the pipeline, this business is poised for impressive expansion.


As the CFO, you will oversee all financial matters, playing a pivotal role in scaling the finance function for future growth. Your primary focus will be to lead and develop a small finance team, offering substantial commercial insight to support rapid expansion, while also managing the operational aspects of the business. You will assume overall responsibility for the finance and operations functions and be instrumental in professionalising, leading, and implementing all controls, processes, and procedures to drive the business's growth.

The ideal candidate must havE

  • Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/ACMA)
  • Experience as a CFO in a PE-backed high-growth business, in the insurtech sector.
  • A proven track record in managing and developing a small finance team.
  • Be proactive and entrepreneurial with exceptional interpersonal skills and be a skilled communicator.
  • Experience of acquisitions and integrations.
