Are you confident, resilient, and passionate about supporting students with behavioural needs? We're looking for a Challenging Behaviour Assistant to join a dynamic SEN school in Greenwich. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone seeking hands-on experience as a SEN Teaching Assistant while gaining valuable education and training.

As a Challenging Behaviour Assistant, you will support students on a 1:1 basis or in small groups, helping manage and de-escalate behaviours that challenge, while encouraging engagement and participation in learning. The school in Greenwich provides excellent support and tailored education and training to help you grow in this rewarding field.

The Role:
Work as a SEN Teaching Assistant, supporting pupils with SEMH and behavioural needs

De-escalate and manage challenging behaviour effectively

Build trust and positive relationships with students

Support teachers in creating a safe and structured environment

Collaborate with therapists, SENCOs, and pastoral staff

This Challenging Behaviour Assistant position is ideal for aspiring teachers, youth workers, or psychology graduates looking to gain practical education and training experience in/around Greenwich.

Requirements:
Experience working with children with behavioural challenges is a plus

Strong communication and behaviour management skills

A calm, patient, and positive approach
