We’re hiring for a Charity Shop Manager in Chipping Sodbury!

We’re looking for a Shop Manager in Brandon Trust’s charity shop in Chipping Sodbury

We are a small retail chain with mighty ambitions and we’re looking for a Store Manager to be part of our success.

Our shops exist to raise funds for the work of Brandon Trust, create paid and unpaid employment opportunities for people with learning disabilities and autism, and promote sustainable living and pre-loved fashion.

This is a full time position, for 37.5 hours over 5 days, including Saturdays and Sundays.

You Will:

  • Have a commercial mind and have charity retail knowledge.

  • Be passionate about your local community and people with learning disabilities and autism.

  • Be a hard-working, enthusiastic, creative, and a solution-seeking team leader with an eye for fashion, and an entrepreneurial streak.

Your responsibilities will Include:

  • Achieving set sales and profit targets.

  • Generating sufficient donated stock via contact with donors and the use of other methods.

  • Managing staff both paid and unpaid, and to ensure the shop is adequately staffed at all times.

Brandon exists to enable children, young people and adults with a learning disability, autism, or both, to live life in the way they choose. We provide high-quality, individualised support to around 1,600 people and have a staff team of over 2,000. Operating across southern England and London, support is provided by a widely dispersed workforce, including public spaces and the homes of the people we support.
